Hi Vanessa, I usually write my notes on the margin of the books I read or I used to write my reflections on the back of the photos once, but then with the advent of digital technologies, this possibility has disappeared. Yes we have a couple of days where the rain falls but then it retreats to the sunny weather again. I think it is the same sort of pattern as many years ago where, during late Jan early Feb, we would get the muggy weather during the day followed by the early evening thunderstorms. Not so much the storms but thankfully a steady rain of 50-100 mils over a couple of days. Plants love it but the fruit trees are going nuts.
You seem to be getting a similar pattern although I don't think the Sydney weather makes it past the Great Dividing range that much...

That's quite alright. Most of the outdoor shots we've taken over the years were in our garden, or in pretty secluded place, so little to no chance of being sprung. We were interrupted doing a video once so that was quite a scurry! Not embarrassed to be caught, but not excited either, we certainly try to avoid that. Just read part of an article in the Tech insider that states the Australian Continent will move 6 feet Northward. (1.8288 meters) On January 1, 2017 Australia's Coordinate System will shift 6 feet to line up with where the Continent actually is. They hope this will align OZ with the rest of the world by 2020.

A lot of people have asked me the same questions over the years. For both of us, our motivation for taking photos is to create good images, and hopefully to get the viewers' minds going.
